Cupcakes
Unfortunately they were doomed to be hurled to the ground by a toddler, but they were good despite the caked in dirt. Double chocolate with buttermilk frosting.

Between Christmas and bad time management I haven’t managed to do the more careful layered paintings but I’m hoping to get back into that. This week is a step in that direction.

Sometimes cats have hard lives. Cookie Monster refuses to share:
And they get baths.
Miss Marmalade loves cookies. When I eat them she tries to get them from me. Sometimes she employs devious methods- looking cute, climbing on me and purring (usually I eat cookies while laying on the couch)- but more often she tries to snatch them away by force.
That’s what inspired this painting.
