Wasted- A Repurposed Art Show

Kevin Inman at Wasted- A Repurposed Art Show

I painted a couple of recycled vinyl bags for Wasted, a repurposed art show that benefits environmental education here in inner city San Diego. It’s a great cause, it’s where I live, and something I really care about. The bags will be auctioned off at a fundraiser at Karl Strauss Brewery on March 28. Tickets are free, you can learn more on the event’s Facebook page.

Botanical Building Painting San Diego Watercolor

They say this wacky curved greenhouse is one of the most photographed buildings in Balboa Park- though probably not from this angle. Painted over lunch on the Plaza de Panama. for sale

Balboa Park Patio, San Diego

This one is from last year. It’s the patio surrounded by the several buildings of the Museum of Man.

While I was painting it in Balboa Park, my sister’s college friend from the East Coast went jogging by. I hadn’t known she lived here. I love coincidences like these.
