Kevin Inman is a San Diego artist, focusing on human impacts on the landscape.
Inman is interested in exploring and documenting change in the built and natural environment. He works outside on location, often at an intimate scale. His plein air oil paintings explore the California landscape and its urban sprawl.
Inman is inspired by the Venetian painting school as well as 20th century abstraction.
After growing up in a military family around the US and overseas, Inman studied at the Universidad de Valencia, earned a BA at the University of Virginia, and a MFA in painting at Radford University.
