This is one of the alleys just off Balboa Park in Hillcrest, behind beautiful older homes in a slew of styles- craftsman, streamline moderne, mission revival. A wonderful neighborhood.
A steep street near my house. Last year it caved in with a giant sinkhole, and they replaced the asphalt with big slabs of concrete, like a driveway.
