Playing chauffeur to a conference in Irvine scored me a free room and two days to paint in Laguna. This is one of the trails in Crystal Cove State Park. On my map, the trail was called, “Poles.”

Just got back from 2 days painting in Laguna Beach. This one’s from Crystal Cove.
Laguna
This might be a color study only or maybe I’ll finish it tomorrow. The light in Laguna and the water colors are different from San Diego, so I wanted to focus on capturing the changing light effects in a series of quick studies.
